Sharks beat Stallions

/ 07:23 AM May 08, 2012

JASPER Loreto and Mervin Balansag figured in a fierce offensive duel but it was the latter who had the last laugh as the Accenture Sharks devoured the Lexmark Stallions, 95-90, in last Sunday’s action of the 2012 Sun Cellular E-League for Basketball at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

Loreto coughed up a season-high 33 points, barely edging Balansag in their scoring battle as Lexmark’s top gun finished with 32 points that went with his 16 rebounds, two blocks and two steals.

On the other hand, the Supportsave Jaguars and the Eperformax Reds scored their own victories against  separate foes.
