“Yun ang nakikita na pinakamalapit na motive that prompted this incident,” Malinao said.

(That’s the closest motive we see that prompted this incident.)

In previous interviews and reports, Camilon’s mother, Rosario, initially said her daughter had no known boyfriend or enemies.

She likewise denied De Castro’s purported romantic relationship with the beauty queen.

However, Malinao revealed Rosario and the victim’s sister, Chin Chin, changed their statements.

They provided evidence to support their new testimonies, after some women investigators talked with them again in Tuy, Batangas.

(Based on her mother’s statement, the one that Catherine would meet was that alleged boyfriend who was De Castro.)

(That was also supported by her sister Chin Chin’s statement. That was also the statement of the beauty queen’s friend who was Vanessa.)

On Monday, PNP filed complaints of kidnapping and serious illegal detention against De Castro, his driver Jeffrey Arreola Magpantay, and two other “John Does” or unidentified persons.
