New CFA board starts work
THE newly elected nine board members of the Cebu Football Association (CFA) will officially take over today.
Rodney Orale, Pericles Ricky Dakay Sr., Raffy Musni, Glenn Quisido, Nimrod Quiñones, Michael Veloso, Joey Herrera, Rico Navarro and Fr. Heinz Kuiueke were elected last March 31 as new board members of the CFA.
They were supposed to elect among themselves the new officers of the CFA before their official takeover.
However, Quisido said they decided to do that in a meeting once they officially sit as CFA board members.
Quisido said it might not likely happen today because their first priority is to look for an office for the new administration.
The new board members also plan to call the former board members to a meeting later for the endorsements. /CORRESPONDENT MARS G. ALISON
