B-Meg remains unbeaten
THE B-MEG Llamados continued to romp over the competition as they posted their second win of the tournament following their 101-42 defeat of Batch 90 in the University of San Carlos Boys High Alumni Basketball Association basketball tournament last Sunday at the University of San Carlos-North gym.
Former pro Lou Regidor was unstoppable for the second straight game as he tallied 32 points to follow up on his 37 point performance last weekend.
Meanwhile, the reigning champions in Division 2, Yayoy’s Grill and Resto Bar atoned for their upset loss at the hands of Color Blind last time out by beating Type-R, 69-65.
The reigning champions in Division 1 remained winless as Solar Link Brokerage got dumped by Cebu Vet Doctors, 65-55.
Jopher Regidor and Roy Jumao-as each had 12 for Cebu Vet as Solar Link dropped to 0-2 (win-loss).
In other results, Mapre Insular downed RC Goldline, 78-66, while Park ’N Go eked past Color Blind, 60-58. The 89ers defeated the RJC Customs Brokerage, 55-51, while Lite Shipping edged the USC Faculty in double overtime, 85-79.
