More than 13,260 Filipinos set the world record for the largest human cross on March 9, 2011. Organized by the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, the event broke the record recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records earlier set by the Oslo Red Cross in May 7, 2010, in which 937 participants formed a human cross.
