LIST: Canceled flights for July 27 due to Typhoon Egay

MANILA, Philippines — Several flights have been canceled on Thursday, July 27, amid the persistent inclement weather brought about by Typhoon Egay (international name Doksuri).

The Manila International Airport Authority said in an advisory that as of 6:30 a.m., the following flights were canceled:

In its 11 a.m. weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Egay is now outside the Philippine area of responsibility.

It was last located 255 kilometers west of Itbayat, Batanes, packing maximum sustained winds of 150 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 180 kph.

Egay is forecast to make landfall in the vicinity of China’s Fujian province by Friday morning.
