DOH logs 3,442 COVID-19 infections from June 19 to 25
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 3,442 COVID-19 infections were recorded by the Department of Health (DOH) from June 19 to 25, once again lower than the previous week’s 4,281 cases.
The latest weekly tally translates to a daily average of 592, 20 percent lower than the 612 cases from June 12 to June 18.
The data also showed that 37 infections, or 1.08 percent of the total recorded cases, were tagged as critical or severe.
325 cases were tagged as severe and critical admissions.
No deaths were recorded by the DOH during the past week.
Meanwhile, the utilization of ICU beds dropped from 16.6 percent to 13 percent, while non-ICU bed utilization rate dipped from 19.5 percent to 17.7 percent.
Article continues after this advertisementBased on the DOH’s online COVID-19 tracker as of June 25, the country’s total COVID-19 caseload was at 4,162,752 (8,244 active cases), with 4,088,026 recoveries and 66,482 deaths.
