DOH flags disinformation on hypertension ‘cure’

The DOH disproves the disinformation on hypertension "cure"

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Health (DOH) is calling out as “false” a circulating article about a “cure” for hypertension.

In an advisory issued Saturday, the health agency said that the circulating article is “not in any way or form approved, affiliated, or recommended by the DOH and its attached agencies.”

The DOH then reminded the public that comorbidities such as hypertension can be prevented through healthy habits and lifestyle, recommending regular consultations with physicians to “help supplement and keep sickness at bay.”
