Kids with cancer tour aquarium

The beneficiaries of “Pangga-a Sab Ko” program of the Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Foundation Inc. – Cebu composed of children with cancer had their educational tour on marine life at the Mactan Island Aquarium last June 11.

A devotee of St. Anthony de Padua sponsored the tour.

The children spent an hour looking at the different aquariums with local fishes and other marine animals.

At the touch pools, the children were able to hold the starfishes and crabs.

They also enjoyed seeing the reef sharks and sea turtles.

A beach luncheon concluded the tour.

“Pangga-a Sab Ko” program provides opportunities for children with leukemia, a cancer of the blood, and their families to participate in learning and therapeutic activities, and to celebrate the chance to live.

The tour on marine life is one of the support group activities provided to the beneficiaries.
