Confab for campus ministers

THE 4th national convention of campus ministers will be held from April 24 to April 26 at Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino in Lahug, Cebu City, with the theme “New directions in campus ministry: Discovering roadmaps for youth guides of today.”

An estimated 600 to 800 ministers and educators nationwide will share their best practices in their work and mission.

The activity aims to tackle present reality, and to discover new roadmaps that will guide the participants to become more effective in their ministry.

The organizers are the Archdiocesan Campus Ministry of the Archdiocese of Cebu and Ministry on Campus of the Archdiocesan Commission on Youth of the Archdiocese of Manila with partner-convenors, University of Cebu, University of San Carlos  and University of San Jose-Recoletos.

FEATURED STORIES

Education Secretary Bro. Armin Luistro will be the keynote speaker, while the convention speakers are Dr. Leah H. Vidal from Ateneo de Davao University; Bro. Carlito M. Gaspar, CSsR; Bro. Noelvic H. Deloria, SC, from the Asian Religious Formation Institute; Marie-Paul de Luna and Engr. Rodolfo “Jun” Lozada.

A Mass will be presided by Cebu Archbishop Jose S. Palma on the first day and Auxiliary Bishop Julito B. Cortes on the second day.

Archbishop Emeritus Ricardo J. Cardinal Vidal will close the event with a Eucharistic celebration on April 26.

The event is open to all schools and universities.
