TOSP regional search finalists announced

THIS year’s batch of outstanding students was released after a rigorous screening held last March 31 at the Paref Springdale School in Lahug, Cebu City.

Twenty finalists from the three provinces of Central Visayas—Bohol, Cebu and Negros Oriental—will undergo a one-week formation in Dumaguete City on April 28-May 2.

The finalists are Wilma Elizabeth Rada (Saint Theresa’s College), Michael Angelo Abarcar (University of Southern Philippines Foundation), Raymond Sesican (University of San Jose Recoletos (USJR)), Darwin Neil Morano (University of Cebu-Main Campus), Irish Mae Anoos (Cebu Institute of Technology University (CITU)), Nesie Fe Binatero (Bohol Wisdom School), Kenneth Regene Blasco (Mater Dei College), Leslie Ann Estaniel (University of Cebu-Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue Campus), Jurene Renoblas (University of the Visayas), Regina Clarina Elmaco (St. Paul University Dumaguete), Simplicio Gadugdug (Holy Name University), Ionell Jay Terogo (USJ-R), Mark Anthony Amparado (Silliman University), Joshua Eleazar Domen (Saint Paul University Dumaguete), Athena Gene Duran (Silliman University), Ronnell Padillo (CITU), Felix Mosqueda III (Negros Oriental State University), Angelica Dwayne Young Ricardo (Saint Paul Dumaguete), Ma. Shiril Armero (Southwestern University) and Ramon Matthew Basabe (Cebu Doctors University).

The finalists were chosen by a pool of screeners from various fields. The annual search for TOSP recognizes the best and the brightest students in the Central Visayas who excelled in academics, leadership and social responsibility.

This year’s search is a commitment of RFM Foundation, The Outstanding Students of the Philippines – Alumni Community and Commission on Higher Education, in partnership with the Negros Oriental provincial government.
