Thousands stranded in Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines—Thousands of people were left stranded along major thoroughfares in Metro Manila as rain continued to pound as a result of the merging of tropical storm Falcon and a low pressure area.
The rain and floods in several areas of the metro also caused traffic build-up in several areas as of 7 p.m. Thursday, Metropolitan Manila Development Authority information officer Vincent Lizada said.
