Man wanted for drug charges nabbed in Sorsogon – police
SORSOGON CITY — A person wanted for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 or Republic Act No. 9165 was arrested in Irosin town in Sorsogon province on Tuesday afternoon (March 14), a report said on Wednesday (March 15).
Police and personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) armed with a warrant of arrest collared Remus Gimpao Alindogan, 47, in Barangay (village) Gulang-gulang at 5:30 p.m., police report said.
The police said that the accused has another standing warrant of arrest for violation of RA 9165. However, the report did not give details on the drug charges against the suspect.
The arrest warrant was issued by Bernardo Jimenez, Jr., presiding judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 65 in Bulan town, also in Sorsogon, and was dated September 2, 2019.
