Palace renames complaints desk as Presidential Action Center
MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has renamed its complaints desk from Presidential Complaints Action Office (PCAO) to Presidential Action Center (PACe).
The change in the name was authorized under Executive Order (EO) No. 15, signed by Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin on February 8. A copy of the EO was released to the media on Friday.
The PCAO was established in the Office of the President (OP) via EO No. 442 to serve as the command center and liaison unit of the OP with various agencies on all requests for assistance and complaints from the general public.
Under EO No. 15, PCAO was renamed PACe but another order (EO No. 9) renamed PACe as the Presidential Complaint Center (PCC).
The PCC was then placed under the direct control and supervision of the Strategic Action and Response (STAR) Office under the Office of the Cabinet Secretary (OCS).
