1,980 pass architecture licensure exam; UST graduate is topnotcher
MANILA, Philippines — A total of 1,980 out of 3,473 examinees passed the January 2023 Architect Licensure Exams (ALE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Wednesday.
Bing-Bhing Panagsagan Ko from the University of Santo Tomas (UST) topped the exam with a score of 84.50 percent.
Following is the complete list of the top 10 examinees:
- Bing-Bhing Panagsagan Ko, UST – 84.50 percent
- Shanna Mae Brecia Goyena, Bicol University – Legazpi – 83.80 percent
- Aliana Jasmine Alcantara Cadiang, UST – 83.30 percent
- Mariel Mei Yson Rias, University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman – 83.10 percent
- Angel Phebles Lopina Altejar, University of San Carlos – 82.80 percent
- Emmanuel Dusuran Inocencio, UP Diliman – 82.40 percent
- Dawnelli Mahomoc Luar, UP – Mindanao – 82.30 percent
- Marie Raphaelle Salvacion Lopez, UP Diliman – 82.30 percent
- Ray Matthew Lopez, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta-Molino Campus – 81.80 percent
- Jose Roger Melgar Barata Jr. – Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main Sta. Mesa – 81.70 percent
Two colleges were named as the top-performing schools for the ALE, having 50 or more examinees with a passing rate of at least 80 percent.
The Polytechnic University of the Philippines – Main Sta. Mesa is the top performing school with 61 exam takers obtaining a 91.80 percent passing rate, followed by UST with 145 examinees and an 81.38 percent passing rate.
Article continues after this advertisementThe test was conducted on January 25 and 26 in testing centers located in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, the PRC said.
