3 hurt in Lipa City LPG tank explosion

LUCENA CITY — Three people were injured on Thursday after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in Lipa City, Batangas.

The Region 4A police said Loreto, Rhea Mae, and Glent Darenz, all surnamed Gutang, suffered burns and were rushed to Lipa Medix Hospital for treatment.

Investigators said Loreto opened the LPG tank inside their rented apartment in Barangay 2 at 6:45 a.m. when it exploded.
