3 hurt as LPG tank explodes in Pasig

MANILA, Philippines – Three persons were injured after a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) tank exploded in Pasig City on Monday morning, said the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).
In a report, BFP said the LPG tank exploded inside the house of one Caroline Duro in Kalawaan, Pasig City.
According to the BFP, the victims were rushed to the Pasig City General Hospital. They were identified as Apolonio Capistrano, 51; and Cesar Capistrano, 44; both sustained second-degree burns; while Ian Cabuga, 17, had bruises on both arms, and burns and wounds on his two fingers.
The BFP is still conducting a follow-up investigation to determine what triggered the LPG tank to explode.
