Johnrey Millegen outpoints Aguan
Johnrey Millegen outmatched Jing-Jing Aguan of Tagbilaran City in the main event of the ALA-Summit Drinking Water Fight Night Amateur Boxing Series last Sunday at the Gaisano Countrymall carpark in barangay Banilad.
Melligen, the younger brother of ALA Stable’s welterweight prospect Mark Jason Melligen, controlled the three-round showdown to score a 3-0 victory in the 57-kilogram division.
Eleno Traya, meanwhile, beat Jp Artieda of Bacolod City in the first 57kg matchup. Traya from Consolacion, Cebu won, 2-1.
Mardy Muaña of Camotes Island, Cebu, dominated the 54kg division by defeating Juren Labordo of Bacolod City, 3-0.
Cherwillan Cantel of Maguikay Mandaue City also scored a lopsided 3-0 win over Rolando Lingaw-lingaw of Maramag, Bukidnon in the 52kg division.
Christian Bacolod of Florencio Urot National High School ruled the 50kg division after nipping Kevin Jake Cataraja of Talamban, 3-0.
