Woman nabbed after yielding P28,000 meth in Quezon buy-bust
LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives caught a woman on the drug watch list in a buy-bust operation early Monday in Tiaong, Quezon.
Members of the drug enforcement unit collared around 12:30 a.m.
Maricor Laynesa, 38, after she sold “shabu” (crystal meth) to a poseur buyer in Barangay Lalig, Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, said in a report.
Authorities seized from Laynesa three sachets of shabu worth P28,356 in the street market.
Police tagged Laynesa as a street-level drug pusher in the locality.
She was detained and is facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
