Road crashes on Edsa Busway kill 6

The Move As One Coalition is “gravely concerned” over the reported deaths and injuries resulting from road crashes along the Edsa Busway and urged the government to ensure the safety of motorists traversing the major thoroughfare. The group noted that since November 2020, six people have died while 13 have been injured in nine road accidents on or near the Edsa Busway, a dedicated lane for buses. The “deadliest crash” happened on Feb. 18, when a driver under the influence of alcohol killed three people in a road crash. —Mariejo S. Ramos
