Girl drowns in Cavite resort

LUCENA CITY — A family outing turned tragic after an 8-year-old girl drowned Sunday in a resort swimming pool in Tanza town in Cavite province.

A report from the Region 4A police Monday said Princess Jirah Peruda, and her cousins went at 12:50 p.m. to the resort’s swimming pool in Barangay Sahud Ulan.

The relatives did not notice that the victim got separated and drowned.
