Pasig Ferry Services, some PNR trips suspended due to ‘Florita’

MANILA, Philippines — Operations in the Pasig Ferry Services have been suspended, as well as some Philippine National Railways (PNR) trips on Tuesday due to Tropical Storm “Florita.”

According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) in an advisory, all 13 operations of the ferry were suspended due to the effects of “Florita.”

Meanwhile, PNR, in its own advisory, temporarily suspended trips in its Metro North line (Tutuban – Governor Pascual – Bicutan).

It also earlier suspended trips in its Metro South line (Tutuban – Alabang – Tutuban) but announced its resumption at 2:36 p.m.

Based on the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration’s (Pagasa) latest story advisory, Florita is currently over Alcala, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 110 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy with heavy rain was forecast in Metro Manila.
