Negros Occidental gov urges LGUs to join ‘MassKara sa Panaad Festival’ in October

BACOLOD CITY — Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson on Wednesday encouraged local government units in the province to join the MassKara sa Panaad Festival in October.

“Hopefully, they still have a budget for the opening of their pavilions at the Panaad for the MassKara,” he said.

“If they signify that they will open their pavilions, by all means we will allow that,” the governor added.

The participation of the local governments in the MassKara Festival is part of the collaboration of Negros Occidental and Bacolod City.

Local government booths will open to sell goods and activities will also be staged at the Panaad Park in Barangay Mansilingan, Bacolod, during the MassKara Festival.
