Work, classes suspended in Abra, Baguio due to quake
BAGUIO CITY—Abra Governor Dominic Valera on Wednesday suspended classes and government work in the province following the 7.3-magnitude earthquake that struck the province.
The quake damaged the Abra Provincial Hospital, forcing the evacuation of the patients.
Baguio Mayor Benjie Magalong also suspended work and classes for both public and private establishments in the wake of the strong earthquake felt in the city.
No damage or fatality has been reported so far. Magalong will lead an inspection citywide.
In Pampanga province, the Angeles University Foundation also canceled classes and office operations due to the quake. INQ
