Antipolo City busts yield P136,000 shabu from 4 suspects

LUCENA CITY—Police on Tuesday arrested four drug suspects and seized 20 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P136,000 in Antipolo City in Rizal province.

Arrested were Saidamin Bauda, Marlon Balsamo, Rhiel Quitalig, and Reycard Padlan, the Region 4-A police said in a report.

Anti-narcotics agents collared around 4:15 a.m. the suspects, who were selling a pack of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Sta. Cruz.

Authorities seized from the suspects 16 sachets of shabu weighing 20 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P136,000.

Further investigation is conducted to determine the source of the illegal drugs.

The suspects are under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
