Quezon’s most wanted felon nabbed in Cavite
LUCENA CITY — A 28-year-old man tagged as first on the list of wanted criminals in Quezon province was caught in his hideout in Alfonso town in Cavite province early Thursday.
Police Lt. Col. Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, in a report identified the arrested fugitive as Mac Jay Blacer, a resident of Lucena City.
Report said Blacer was caught by combined police operatives from the cities of Lucena and San Pablo and Alfonso town, armed with a warrant of arrest in his safehouse at the village of Matagbak around 7:36 a.m.
The felon is facing cases of murder, rape with homicide, and theft at the Regional Trial Court Branch 30 in San Pablo City since June 1 with no bail recommended.
Blacer was accused of stabbing to death his rape victim, also a resident of Lucena City, in an incident that happened on September 11, 2011 ,in San Pablo City.
