Shabu, illegal gun seized from 4 drug suspects in Rizal

LUCENA CITY—Four suspected drug pushers were arrested on Tuesday, July 5, in Rodriguez town in Rizal province.

The regional police 4-A reported Wednesday that anti-illegal drugs operatives nabbed Reggie Monton in a buy-bust operation around 9:45 p.m. in Barangay San Isidro.

Authorities confiscated from Monton eight sachets of shabu worth P2,040. He was carrying an unlicensed loaded caliber .38 gun.

Police anti-illegal drug enforcers also collared Jester Tan, John Mark Pama, and Wilson Villareal in another operation around 8 p.m. in Barangay San Jose.

The three yielded 13 sachets of meth worth P5,200.

The suspects face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Monton will be slapped with a case for illegal possession of a firearm.
