PH may be typhoon-free for entire June, says Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines could be typhoon-free for the entire month of June, according to Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
“Based on our latest data, it seems that there is a low chance that we will have a typhoon for this month, but we will keep monitoring,” Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said in Filipino in his forecast.
The entire country will have hot and humid weather due to the ridge of a high-pressure area, though it could have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Pagasa did not declare a gale warning in any of the seaboards nationwide, according to Badrina.
