PH to experience isolated rains or thunderstorms in next 24 hours
MANILA, Philippines — Isolated rains or thunderstorms may prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country in the next 24 hours, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said Wednesday.
This is brought about by the localized thunderstorms, the weather bureau said in its 24-hour forecast.
Pagasa also warned about incidents of flash floods or landslides, which may occur during severe thunderstorms.
Pagasa noted that a ridge of a high-pressure area will extend over northern and central Luzon while easterlies will affect the eastern section of Mindanao.
The whole archipelago is expected to have light to moderate wind speeds from east to southeast, with slight to moderate condition in the coastal waters.
