Pagasa: PH can still see fair weather, no storm in next three to five days

Pagasa: PH can still see fair weather, no storm in next three to five days

MANILA, Philippines — The state weather service said the weather will remain generally fair across the country on Friday as it sees no storm entering the Philippines in the next three to five days.

According to the latest forecast of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) on Thursday afternoon, fair weather conditions are likely to prevail even if there are also chances of precipitation in the afternoon and evening.

“Generally fair weather conditions pa rin ang maaasahan dito sa kalakhang Luzon maliban na lang sa mga tiyansa ng mga pagulan sa hapon o sa gabi,” said Pagasa weather specialist Patrick Del Mundo.

(Generally fair weather conditions can still be expected here in greater Luzon except for the chances of rains in the afternoon or evening.)

“Dito naman sa Visayas at Mindanao asahan pa rin ang maaliwalas na panahon na may tiyansa nga mga pagulan sa hapon at gabi dahil pa rin ‘yan sa thunderstorms,” he added.

(Here in Visayas and Mindanao, expect clear weather with a chance of rain in the afternoon and evening due to thunderstorms.)

Del Mundo also aid no gale warning is being raised over the country’s seaboards because only slight to moderate sea conditions are expected throughout the Philippines’ coasts and in-land seas.

  • Metro Manila: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio City: 17 to 24 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag City:  25 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 25 to 35 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay: 22 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Iloilo City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Cebu: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Tacloban City: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Cagayan De Oro City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
  • Zamboanga City: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Davao City: 24 to 33 degrees Celsius
