17 AFP generals, officers secure CA confirmation

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Appointments (CA) on Monday confirmed the ad interim appointments of 17 military generals and officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

 Before the CA’s plenary session, its Committee on National Defense deliberated on and recommended the approval of their ad interim appointments.

 Below is the list of officers who secured the CA’s approval:

  1. Adonis Ariel G. Orio to the rank of Brigadier General
  2. Wilbur C. Mamawag to the rank of Major General
  3. Alberto B. Carlos to the rank of Vice Admiral
  4. William N. Gonzales to the rank of Lieutenant General
  5. Rommel Anthony SD. Reyes to the rank of Vice Admiral
  6. Glenn Jun C. Calambuhay to the rank of Brigadier General
  7. Fermin M. Carangan to the rank of Brigadier General
  8. Araus Robert F. Musico to the rank of Major General
  9. Ignatius N. Patrimonio to the rank of Major General
  10. Charlton Sean M. Gaerlan to the rank of Major General
  11. Renato P. David to the rank of Rear Admiral
  12. Jonas R. Lumawag to the rank of Major General
  13. Francisco G. Tagamolila Jr. to the rank of Commodore
  14. Marvin L. Licudine to the rank of Brigadier General
  15. Camilo Z. Ligayo to the rank of Major General
  16. Consolito P. Yecla to the rank of Brigadier General
  17. Romulo A. Manuel Jr. to the rank of Major General
