LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte—After missing from the campaign trail, family matriarch Imelda Marcos cast her vote in Batac City, Ilocos Norte.

The 92-year-old Imelda Marcos has been missing from the campaign trail. Her daughter Imee described her mother last March 24 as “very restless for wanting to join all the rallies.”

After casting their votes, Marcos Jr. and sister Irene met their mother Imelda at the Immaculate Parish Church. Irene then accompanied her mother to vote at the same school.

Imelda’s appearance at Mariano Marcos Memorial Elementary School came very rarely amid the pandemic since her family restricted her movements because of her “comorbidities.”
