Group holds dental mission for special children

The Down Syndrome Association of the Phils. Cebu Chapter, in partnership with the Cebu Dental Society and Juanito King Foundation, sponsored free dental services to Adam Jennie’s Christian Center’s students with special needs at the at the Norkis Park , Mandaue City , on June 11, 2011.

Twenty-five children with Down syndrome, autism, and those with learning, intellectual and developmental disability participated in the event. Volunteers from the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation (ERUF) were also present to give free blood pressure checkup to the parents of the special children.

Adam Jennie’s Christian Center for Special Children offers free education to its students.

Founded by Mr. Lee R. Jennie, it is at the Nokis Park , Mandaue City. It has three classrooms donated by Dr. Norberto Quisumbing and Mayor Jonas Cortes.
