PH logs 276 new COVID-19 cases
MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines recorded 276 new COVID-19 infections on Thursday, driving the overall case count to 3,682,356.
Based on the Department of Health’s (DOH) COVID-19 tracker, total recoveries and deaths stood at 3,598,245 and 59,932, respectively.
With these figures, active cases are logged at 24,179.
In the past 14 days, most of the new cases were seen in Metro Manila with 1,307. Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) followed with 530 and Central Luzon with 368.
On April 13, a total of 17,371 were tested for SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19.
Article continues after this advertisementAround 66.6 million individuals have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of April 10, according to the DOH.
Of those with complete primary doses, only 12.4 million have received their third anti-COVID shot.
