From organizing record-setting rallies, supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo are now shifting to high gear as they embark on a house-to-house campaign starting on Saturday, April 2, to solidify support for her presidential candidacy.

Dubbed the “Grand House-to-House Day,” thousands of Robredo’s supporters, collectively known as “kakampinks,” were expected to participate in the daylong event aimed at reaching every nook and corner of the country to help her win the race to Malacañang.

The Vice President’s daughters, Aika and Tricia, will also join the nationwide activity, which they had actually been doing since the start of the campaign period for the May 9 general elections.

Aika, the eldest among Robredo’s three daughters, said taking part in a person-to-person campaign was nothing new to them as they had been used to it during the time of their father, the late Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo, who served as mayor of Naga City for nearly 19 years.

They also campaigned in the communities when Robredo ran as district representative of Camarines Sur in 2013 and as vice president in 2016.
