SAN ANTONIO, Zambales––The data analytics group OCTA Research has classified the province as “low risk” for COVID-19 as it posted a negative 47-percent growth rate in new cases in one week.

Citing Department of Health data, OCTA said on Feb. 26 that the reproduction rate of the virus in the province and its healthcare utilization rate had also gone down to “very low” risk.

OCTA also said the average daily attack rate (Adar), which stood at 1, was also tagged as very low risk. Adar refers to the seven-day average number of new cases per 100,000 people.
