Active COVID-19 cases in Pampanga’s capital down to 45
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga — The number of active COVID-19 cases in the City of San Fernando dropped to 45 on Wednesday from 196 a week ago.
In its latest bulletin, the city government said two new cases, 15 recoveries, and no deaths were registered on the same day.
The recoveries continued to surpass new cases in the past several days in the capital city.
Dolores village had the most active cases at seven, San Agustin at five, and Bulaon at four.
As of Thursday, at least 15 of San Fernando’s 35 villages are COVID-19-free.
Article continues after this advertisementThe city government ordered the adoption of the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases on implementing Alert Level 2.
All provinces and highly urbanized cities in Central Luzon are under Alert Level 2 from Feb. 16 to 28.
