Wanted man in Cotabato nabbed in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––A rape suspect in Libungan, Cotabato was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 1, while hiding in Bacolor, Pampanga, the Central Luzon police disclosed Thursday.
The Police Regional Office 3 identified the arrested person as Aurelio Dugho Jr, 39, the number four most wanted person of Libungan.
The police statement said the suspect had a pending arrest warrant issued by Judge Lily Lydia Laquindanum of Midsayap, Cotabato Regional Trial Court Branch 24, for rape with no recommended bail.
Supported by Central Luzon and City of San Fernando police, intelligence operatives from Cotabato arrested Dugho Jr. in Concepcion village, Bacolor.
The regional police said Dugho is the primary suspect in the rape of his cousin’s wife.
The suspect will be brought back to Cotabato to be presented to the court that issued the arrest warrant.
