Ex-Maguindanao representative Dilangalen dies

MANILA, Philippines — Former Maguindanao representative Didagen Dilangalen died on Saturday morning, his daughter confirmed.
Bai Donna Dilangalen confirmed the news in a Facebook post.

“My father has already passed away at around 8:38 in the morning,” she said. “We sincerely ask for your prayers in this trying time.”
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon,” she added. (To Allah we belong and to Allah we shall return.)
No more details were disclosed by the former lawmaker’s family.
Dilangalen also served as a legal counsel to former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during the canvassing of votes for president and vice president in Congress.
He served as a lawmaker representing the 1st district of Maguindanao from 1995 to 2004.
