No new infected cop in Central Luzon for second time

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales—For the second time this week, no new COVID-19 case was recorded among policemen in Central Luzon, local data showed on Thursday (Oct. 28).

According to the health service of the regional police office, active cases among policemen in the region dropped to 26 following the recovery of seven more policemen-patients.

The regional police office first recorded zero new infection on Tuesday (Oct. 26) which indicated that COVID cases among policemen in the region were declining.

On Wednesday, the same data showed only three new COVID-19 cases and five recoveries.

Since 2020, the regional police has registered a total of 2, 909 COVID-19 cases but at least 2,876 have recovered. It reflected a 98.8-recovery rate.
