Duterte sends flowers to Aquino family gravesite ahead of ‘Undas’

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte has sent flowers at the Aquino family’s mausoleum at the Manila Memorial Park in Paranaque City ahead of the celebration of All Saints’ Day, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque told INQUIRER.net on Thursday.
“Yes, confirmed for All Saints’ Day,” he said in a text message.
Flowers were placed beside the graves of late president Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and his parents, late President Cory Aquino and late senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.
The younger Aquino, Noynoy, who was Duterte’s predecessor, was laid to rest beside his parents on June 26. He died of renal disease secondary to diabetes.
He died “peacefully in his sleep,” his family said.
