MANILA, Philippines — Three Chinese and a Filipino cohort were arrested in Pasay City on Friday for abducting another Chinese. Based on the police report, the suspects kidnapped Chen Yuansen, 21, at Sea Escape CCP Complex on Oct. 2 and detained him in a Philippine offshore gaming operator company in Pasay City. The Southern Police District (SPD) said the suspects demanded P300,000 from the victim in exchange for his release. Yuansen was able to call his friend, Jin Zhongguo, who pretended that someone would bring the ransom money. Zhongguo then coordinated with the intel agents for an entrapment operation. The SPD recovered a white van that was registered to a certain Hui Zhang. Police Brig. Gen. Jimili Macaraeg, director of the Southern Police District, identified the suspects as Zhao Lingdi, Feng Xialong, Hao Zhengdong and Aaron Montenegro.
