Most road accidents in Metro Manila from January to September last year occurred in the daytime. According to the latest data from the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, 63.76 percent, or around 35,650, of the accidents happened between 6 a.m. and 5:55 p.m. while 36.24 percent, or 20,261, of the accidents during that period happened from 6 p.m. to 5:55 a.m.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
