22 more die from COVID-19 in Pampanga
MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga—At least 22 more patients have died from COVID-19 in Pampanga, the provincial epidemiology and surveillance unit disclosed on Monday, Oct. 4.
Its total of 3,194 fatalities on Sunday increased to 3,216 in its latest bulletin.
The provincial government said the new fatalities were residents of Lubao town (4), Arayat (3), Apalit (2), City of San Fernando (2), Guagua (2), Mexico (2), Porac (2), Bacolor (1), Candaba (1), San Luis (1), Sta. Rita (1), and this city (1).
The active COVID-19 cases in the province stood at 4,619 as of Monday after recording 124 patients and 700 recoveries on the same day.
Pampanga has recorded 43,577 cases since the pandemic began last year. Of these, 36,742 have recovered.

Article continues after this advertisementThe city recorded on Monday 25 new cases, 52 recoveries, and two deaths. The fatalities were both residents of Pulung Maragul village.
Since the pandemic broke out last year, Angeles City has recorded 12,015 COVID-19 cases, of which 10,802 have recovered while 483 have died.
