Majority of COVID death, patients in Bacolod City hospitals unvaccinated
BACOLOD CITY – The majority of fatalities and patients admitted to hospitals for COVID-19 in this city were unvaccinated individuals.
Based on the data shown by the city’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on Monday, there have been 73 Bacolod residents who died due to COVID-19 from September 1 to 19.
At least 62 of them were unvaccinated.
The EOC also reported that as of September 19, there were 141 residents who were admitted in seven hospitals in Bacolod City.
Of the number, 97 were unvaccinated, 32 were fully vaccinated, while 12 were partially vaccinated, it said.
