BACOLOD CITY––A fire on Tuesday night destroyed a school building and its supplies for the opening of classes in Barangay Mansilingan in this city.

Damage was pegged at P1.8 million, said Chief Inspector Rodel Legaspi, city fire marshal.

He said the fire may have started from the electrical wiring in the old building of the Mansilingan Agro-Industrial High School.
