MANILA, Philippines — The southern Luzon regions of Calabarzon, Mimaropa, and Bicol, as well as Western Visayas are expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms on Friday due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said.

In its 24-hour forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the ITCZ will affect southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
