Assembly for retirees set

ALL retired employees from the government and private sectors are invited to attend the quarterly assembly of the Central Visayas Association for Volunteer Efforts (CVAVE) on July 4 at the Stella Maris Seamen’s Center (near Pier 4) in North Reclamation Area, Cebu City.

Topics to be discussed include updates on policies and benefits of GSIS, SSS and PhilHealth; issues affecting pensionless retirees; expanded benefits and social pension for senior citizens; tips on graceful ageing and traditional medicines.

Blood pressure monitoring will also be conducted by CVAVE volunteer caregivers.

The registration fee is P200 for CVAVE members. Non-members will pay an additional P100 for the membership fee aside from the registration fee.
