6 suspected trafficking victims stopped at NAIA

MANILA, Philippines — Immigration officers at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) have intercepted six suspected human trafficking victims bound for the United Arab Emirates with fake visas.

Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente said the six passengers, all women, were intercepted at the departure area of Naia Terminal 3 on Wednesday as they were about to board an Emirates flight to Dubai.
