Mindoro trike driver in hot water for alleged rape, drugs
CITY OF CALAPAN – A tricycle driver, who was arrested by police on Friday afternoon for allegedly raping and 18-year-old woman, yielded sachets of shabu (crystal meth) and marijuana while being frisked on Friday afternoon in this city.
Police arrested Ferdinand Solo, 37, a resident of Barangay Ilaya, at 5:38 p.m. in Barangay Bulusan.
Police recovered three sachets of shabu and a sachet of marijuana leaves from the suspect.
Solo is under police custody and will face formal complaints for violation of the Anti-Rape Law of 1997 and the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
